Macro Month – Day 4 – Aloe Vera

A series of macro photos of our aloe vera from the garden, we were out walking in the neighbourhood a few months ago and found thrown on the road a couple of aloe vera plants which we picked up and took home and planted, they are thriving.

Macro Month – Day 2 – Red Flower

Day two. I have no idea of the name of so many flowers so, I will often just call them by their colour. This particular flower is a favourite of one of the long tailed hummingbirds we have, but there is no way I can catch a photo of the bird and the flower, they don’t spend enough time feeding here.

We have an apple tree in the garden, it was planeted 3 years ago and still it does nothing, it is will only a couple of sticks, but the blooms are beautiful. And, no, there are no apples yet.

From My Garden – Day 20 – Cotopaxi Volcano

I am always saying from my garden, not of my garden and today’s photo is a view from my garden. The Cotopaxi Volcano in the Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador. This volcano is a stratovolcano with a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft). Last August 2015 it woke up again and this photo was taken yesterday when it decided to huff and puff a little. Taken from my front garden.
